Using Fliers with match guarantee

April 13th, 2011 at 03:38 pm

We get fliers of all kinds in mail and now increasingly on the internet. If you get a flier for a store that you don't frequent or is way too far - do not throw that flier away.
Some superstores have a price match guarantee, so if you happen to be at one and carrying a flier from another store, you can demand a price match for specific items.

Many stores will match if you just ask (even if no official/advertised policy).

I think I generally just choose the stores with the lowest price, BUT everything always goes on sale the day after I buy it. Wink I feel like we are constantly asking for a discount after the fact. The stores we shop at always oblige.

P.S. Amazon will match ANYTHING. If you tell them you saw an advertisement/coupon deal for 90% off, they will usually just sell you the same item at discount, or credit you if you already bought it. With Amazon we take a lot of stabs in the dark, but they have never said no. You could gather all your coupons and drive to, say Target, or you can just shoot Amazon an e-mail and make a deal.
